Bradford Sings!

School Choirs Rock St George's Hall

We’re launching the Bradford Education Festival week by taking over the City’s iconic St George’s Hall for a one-night-only performance by choirs drawn from primary, secondary and special schools across our city.  Expect everything from classical to pop; songs from timeless musicals to the latest movies. In fact, expect the unexpected!

For our young people, it will be a chance to shine on the stage of the City’s top concert venue, fresh from its major refurbishment.

Tickets will be available for parents, schools and colleagues for a musical night out.

And we aren’t stopping there. Our ambition is to recruit and rehearse the first ever Bradford Teachers’ Choir for a world premiere debut on Monday 15 June. Our friends in the Bradford Music Education Hub have volunteered to prepare and coach the new choir – so we’re looking for (at least) 100 teachers to be the voice of Bradford Teaching.

Tickets will go on sale in Spring 2020.
